Department of Automobile Engineering

The Department of Automobile Engineering at Government Polytechnic College Samba is committed to producing technically proficient and innovative professionals capable of shaping the future of the automotive industry. Automobile Engineering is an important branch that requires a lot of Practical and theoretical research. To achieve this, we have a qualified faculty team and well- maintained laboratories and workshop. Since its establishment, Automobile Engineering department has maintained a steady growth in all areas of its activity and has played a key role in creating a vibrant and positive academic environment within the institution.

The Department offers the Diploma in Automobile Engineering with Present intake of 60 students. In addition to academics; the department strives for the holistic development of students by arranging various activities like workshops, seminars and industrial visits.

The Department also works consistently to train students by conducting various training programs throughout the year and also the part of its Curriculum. The faculty has also taken several new initiatives in recent years to restructure and enhance the academic programs.
